Tonight is the night where we will reveal the concept for this year’s KILL-TOWN DEATH FEST!!! It will be the 9th edition and it will take place at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen from 31st August – 3rd of September 2023! 13 years of KTDF and actually 10 editions if you count the “Corona Edition”… but who’s counting!
Anyway we are ecstatic to announce this year’s concept and colour scheme; the IX edition of Kill-Town Death Fest will be called “THE CARRION GATHERING”!! So let the ghouls and fiends from around the world gather once again in Copenhagen to celebrate underground death metal!! The colour scheme will be purple, so it’s a nod back to the second edition from 2011.
The artwork is done by Rahma P. Murliawanti aka @gut_slaughter and the graphic designs are done by Steven of @ash_graphicdecay! We will reveal this year’s Icon when the presale will be launched and the final poster art on the line-up poster when all the bands have been announced in March.
The presale will be launched next Wednesday on FEBRUARY 1ST 2023 at 16.00 CET! There will be only be put 800 partout tickets for sale and when they are gone they are gone… That’s usually fast, so mark the date and be ready to secure yourself a ticket! Tickets can be bought via www.billetto.dk. An exact link will be posted when the presale is launched.
There will be two different types of tickets put up for sale;
Partout ticket: 4 day ticket
KTDF package: 4 day ticket plus goodie bag w/ KTDF Icon t-shirt, KTDF IX 3 x compilation tape with a song of all the performaning artists, KTDF IX totebag, KTDF IX Icon and line-up posters, stickers etc
