Hailing from Groningen, The Netherlands, Savage stands as a new force in the old tradition of death metal. Risen from the ashes of Dutch death metal stronghold Entrapment, the band channels the raw and primitive spirit of the late ‘80s underground — drawing heavily from legendary acts like Nihilist, Master, and Repulsion.
In 2023, Savage unleashed their three-song demo recorded at Black Lake Recording Studios by Roberto Timmer, capturing the band’s relentless energy and uncompromising approach to death metal. The demo was released through Dawnbreed Records, earning attention for its authentic, no frills ferocity and old-school vibe.
Continuing their path of decay and domination, the band entered Soundlodge Studios in Germany in May 2025, working with renowned producer Jörg Uken to record four new songs for the upcoming Septic Tomb mini LP, set to be released by MilkCow Records which will also contain the 2023 demo.
At the end of December 2025 Savage headed back to Soundlodge Studios to record another 5 ear melting songs to be released somewhere in the near future.
