Necrotic Ooze was formed in December 2022 by former members of Stench of Decay and Ascended with the intention to create heavy, dark and gloomy death metal that explores the common ground between the classical Finnish and American bands from the 90’s. The first self-titled demo was recorded already in March 2023 and was released on a cassette by Iron Corpse a year after. After that the band has been working on new material which hopefully gets released later this year.
