Caustic Wound is a relentless force of grinding death metal formed in 2016 by members of Mortiferum, Fetid, and the former drummer of Magrudergrind that captures the pulse of classic, early 1990’s american grindcore with palpitations of european goregrind. Caustic Wound’s grotesque verses are expressions of the violent, cruel and unforgiving nature of reality that we live in. After 2018’s “Grinding Terror” demo, followed by the acclaimed debut full length, “Death Posture” Caustic Wound returns with their sophomore album, “Grinding Mechanism of Torment” out on April 25th, 2025 via Profound Lore Records.
