The entity known as Castleumbra was born in 2008 as a side project from members of Profanator, Hacavitz and Demonized. Antimo Buonanno & Alejandro Franco started rehearsing with 3 tracks that instantly turned into their first MCD Cthulu Wgah Ngl Fntgn released first by Obliteration Records from Japan and Nuclear Winter Records from Greece. After many years of hiatus, Antimo and Alejandro reunited again to start composing new material, which led to the recording of the first album Nammu Tammtu that was released in 2023 via Obliteration Records. The band started performing live in 2022 and since then they have only performed live a handful selected shows incl. the infamous Candelabrum Festival in Leon, Mexico.
