Assumption is part of a quest for Transcendence. They started out in Palermo, Sicily, Italy in 2011 crafting magmatic, lava-soaked death doom metal with metaphysical connections. Their discography features two full-length albums, one mini album and one EP. Live appearances on tours or one-off gigs across Europe and Japan have seen them perform at fests like KTDF (Copenhagen 2019), Asakusa Death Fest (Tokyo 2019), Darken the Moon (Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2019), Frantic Fest (Italy, 2022), Heavy Psych Sounds (Bologna, Italy, 2023) and more. They have shared the stage with bands such as Demilich, Skepticism, Evoken, Dead Congregation, Esoteric, Funeral Moth, Abysmal Dimensions, Coffins and many others. Our current line-up is Italo-Slovenian.
