As the first band for this year’s KILL-TOWN DEATH FEST IX line-up, we are excited and proud to announce that the mighty ASCENDED DEAD from Portland, Oregon will be returning! They played their first ever European show at KTDF back in 2018 and came to tour Europe with Impetuous Ritual in 2019, so it’s with great pleasure that we welcome them back after more than 4 years!
They have recently completed their second full-length album, which is scheduled to be announced later in 2023, and their set will be focused around debuting new songs that have never been played live before! For the show, Ascended Dead will be bringing bassist J. Quintana from the original line-up, which is the first time in 9 years the band has played in that constellation! Prepare yourself for some of the best contemporary dark, chaotic, demonic, bestial Death Metal without limitations!
We are also excited to reveal this year’s KTDF Icon poster for “The Carrion Gathering” with artwork by Rahma P. Murliawanti aka Gutslaughter and graphic design by Steven of Ash Graphic Decay!
